That's a wrap, thank you!

It is with mixed emotions to announce that the BBQ Collective’s residency at The Hop Sheffield will come to an end on Friday 23rd December. Our residency was fixed-term and though we knew this day was coming, it crept up on us quickly during a very busy time of year, hence our announcement today.

We want to thank all of our loyal customers who have given us such amazing support throughout this journey.

We are particularly thankful for the collaboration opportunities we had for our monthly BBQ & Brewers Night series with some of the best independent local breweries namely Abbeydale Brewery, Thornbridge Brewery, Lost Industry Brewing, Exit 33 Brewing, and North Union Brewing Co as well as beer specialist Jules Gray of the Hop Hideout.

Here's to our independent local suppliers – LSA Meats, GWPrice and Beeches of Walkley – we would like to thank for supplying quality meats and produce for us.

We’d like to shout out to the lovely Melanie Jackson and her team of Vibe Sheffield and City Mag who work tirelessly to promote independent operators like us and for championing us from the get go. Many thanks to Go Dine, Eleven Design and Neil Murray of Big Light Images for "getting us".

We would also like to thank Yorkshire Food Guide – though a fairly new online blog, does a spanking job of promoting Yorkshire’s finest.

Then there are the lovely folks at Ink & Water – without their triple dose of lattes and americanos – we would have struggled through our long day!

Last but not least, we would also like to thank the Ossett Brewery team for helping us launch our first residency at The Hop Sheffield.

Oh and don’t worry! We ain’t going anywhere just yet. After a much-needed break, we will be back in 2017 with some exciting new ventures in Sheffield and beyond. We will have more news for you soon so watch this space or follow us on Twitter @bbqcollective and Facebook!

  1. I'm not sure I can ever go back to any other place, after an experience like this. This venue NYC is appropriate in a space that lends so much gravitas to events. The design is sharp and environment is unbelievably good.
